Election of 2025 Officers and Governors
Pursuant to Article 6, Section 1, of the Constitution of the Norfolk Yacht and Country Club, your Nominating Committee, consisting of Mrs. Courtney Challoner, Dr. James Forrester, Mr. Richard Keatley, Mr. John Murray, and Mrs. Sarah Weinberg has nominated the following candidates for the Club officers and vacancies on the Board of Governors for 2025 to be voted on at the Annual Meeting:

Voting Procedure
Any member who has opted for e-mail notifications shall receive his or her proxy by e-mail, and any member who has not shall receive his or her proxy by postal U.S. mail. All proxies will be distributed the week of January 6, 2024. Your proxy must be returned to the Secretary of the Club no later than 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 25, 2025.
Annual Meeting
Under Article 4, Section 5, of the Club’s Constitution, ten (10) percent of the Members present physically, virtually, or in such other manner as the Board may approve, shall constitute a quorum at all annual meetings of the Club. However, all members are encouraged to be present in person.
The Ballroom doors and bar will open at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
Important Information
- A majority of members will be receiving their proxies on Monday, January 6 via email through the secure online voting platform eBallot.
- Each membership is allowed one vote. The voting member is the primary member listed on your membership account.
- Non-resident members are non-voting members and will not receive a proxy.
