Election of the 2023 Officers and Governors
Pursuant to Article 6, Section 1, of the Constitution of the Norfolk Yacht and Country Club, your Nominating Committee, consisting of Mr. James Forrester, Mrs. Brooke Garrett, Mr. Richard Keatley, Mrs. Sarah Weinberg, and Mr. Gordon Wolcott has nominated the following candidates for the Club officers and vacancies on the Board of Governors for 2023 to be voted on at the Annual Meeting:

Voting Procedure
Any member who has opted for e-mail notifications shall receive his or her proxy by e-mail, and any member who has not shall receive his or her proxy by postal U.S. mail. All proxies will be distributed the week of January 2, 2023. Your proxy must be returned to the Secretary of the Club no later than 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 21, 2023.
Note: Each membership is allowed one vote. The voting member is the primary member listed on your membership account. If you have a question about who the voting member is in your household please contact the Club at 757-423-4500.
Annual Meeting
Article 4, Section 5, of the Club’s Constitution requires that at least ten (10) percent of the Members attend the annual meeting in person to have a quorum, and it is urged that all Members be present. The Ballroom doors and bar will open at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 6 p.m. once a quorum is met.
