Ken Underwood
General Manager/Chief Operating Officer
Kenneth C. Underwood has been the General Manager of Norfolk Yacht and Country Club since May 2018. He has over 35 years of club management experience including 15 years of service as General Manager of Two Rivers Country Club in Williamsburg, VA, 10 years as the General Manager of River Bend Golf & Country Club in Northern Virginia, and positions at The Landings Club in Savannah, GA, The Commonwealth Club and Westwood Club, both in Richmond, VA. Ken is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.S. in Business Administration and Management with a minor in Finance.
He received his Certified Club Manager status in 1997 and achieved Honor Society status in 2008. He is very active in the Club Management Association of America and served on the Virginias Chapter Board for 8 years, including as its president.
